After graduating from the ºÚÁÏÍø, Taylor Raney taught English, French and Spanish at West Junior High School in Boise. He then taught at Boise High School, and subsequently served as the principal of Wilson Elementary School in Caldwell, ºÚÁÏÍø. Prior to coming to the ºÚÁÏÍø as faculty, Raney was the ºÚÁÏÍø State Department of Education and Professional Standards Commission’s Director of Teacher Certification and Professional Standards.

Raney’s interests are in educator preparation program improvement and support of teachers in their first few years in the classroom, as well as early childhood literacy.
