Livestock

UI Extension, Oneida County offers resources on a variety of livestock issues and coordinates with other UI Extension offices for workshops and programs.

Winter Beef Schools

Beef schools are developed using producer input. We meet with producers to identify their concerns and educational needs. Other livestock programs are conducted as industry issues and topics of concern arise.

Cowboy Schools

Schools involve two hours of lecture followed by two hours of practical application of lecture material in the corral or laboratory. Cowboy Schools are fun, informative and useful.

Pesticide Licensing and Training

UI Extension offers annual ºÚÁÏÍø State Pesticide Applicator Training and Licensing Programs in several counties. The program is offered in conjunction with the UI Pesticide Specialist and the ºÚÁÏÍø State Department of Agriculture. This class is available to anyone seeking an ºÚÁÏÍø State Pesticide Applicator License. This license is required to purchase and use restricted use pesticides for pest control.
