Classes and Labs

UI Extension educators, specialists and other local horticulture experts teach ºÚÁÏÍø Master Gardener classes and labs.

Field trips, readings from the ºÚÁÏÍø Master Gardener Handbook and individual projects will fill out your instructional program. Some materials are also available in Spanish.

Certification

Once you have finished your classroom training, passed your exam and completed your volunteer hours, you’ll be certified as an ºÚÁÏÍø Master Gardener.

As a certified ºÚÁÏÍø Master Gardener, you’ll have:

  • Up-to-date basic gardening knowledge
