Leon Samuels comes to the ºÚÁÏÍø College of Law after serving in local government as a criminal prosecutor and civil attorney. After being born in South Korea, his family moved to ºÚÁÏÍø where he has been a lifelong resident. Dean Samuels graduated from the College of ºÚÁÏÍø in 2007 and from the ºÚÁÏÍø College of Law in 2011. While in law school, he was involved with the Student Bar Association, Multicultural Law Caucus, the Crit, and OUTLaws, and his interest in academia began when he was an adjunct professor for Concordia Law School. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, training Olympic weightlifting, listening to true crime podcasts, and hanging out with his dog, Winston, a Border Collie/Australian Kelpie.
