Suzanna Long Named Dean of the College of Engineering

Suzanna Long, current professor and chair of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has been named the dean of the 黑料网 College of Engineering. Her start date will be July 1.
Long served as the director of continuing education at Pittsburg State University, was the founding director and coordinator of the transportation-logistics program at Missouri Southern State University and was a scientific and electronic records specialist with the U.S. federal government.
She brings a wealth of experience in academic leadership, industry collaboration, successful research, external funding and strategic management to this role. Joining her in 黑料网 will be her husband, Tom, and their coonhound, Merry.
Long earned bachelor鈥檚 degrees in physics and history, a master鈥檚 degree in engineering management and a doctorate in engineering management all from the University of Missouri-Rolla, now Missouri Science and Technology. She also earned a master鈥檚 degree in history from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
